VIRTUAL BANK ADMIN

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY
This position would provide support to the Director of Virtual Banking in the area of virtual banking development and management.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Performs new accounts duties which include selling new accounts, closing accounts, advising customers on all bank services, and helping customers match the appropriate Bank service to their specific need.
  2. Provides day to day management support named services in a manner that promotes customer service in line with bank expectations.
  3. Performs various customer service duties, including answering telephone inquiries,
  4. ordering checks, reconciling statements, resolving disputes, etc.
  5. Assists when needed with daily Branch duties and assist with the duties of the Senior Virtual Banking Administrator in their absence. 
  6. Assists with development or promotional ideas, attend meetings, and training sessions. 
  7. Provides support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of all virtual banking services.
  8. Assists in the maintenance of the organization’s websites.
  9. Assists in the marketing of virtual bank services to customers and non-customers through electronic communications.
  10. Regular and reliable attendance.
  11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Full knowledge of personal banking products offered, taking a personal initiative to stay updated on any changes. Basic knowledge of all banking regulations applicable to the job function and of all bank policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of general banking principles and banking regulations and a willingness to participate in educational opportunities.
  • Knowledge of internet banking products and services.
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
  • Skill in operating various office machines including switchboard, adding machine, copy machine, typewriter, etc.
  • Skill in operating computer terminals and printers accurately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and other employees.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous banking, internet banking or internet product experience preferred.

  • Mobility: Must be able to move around the office, warehouse, and sales floor as needed.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift twenty-five pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Bending: Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to access files, inventory, and equipment.
  • Standing:  Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time during busy hours.
  • Sitting: Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time during quiet hours.

Monday - Friday 8-5. Office in Gretna, NE.
