Marketing Copywriter
Job Description
- Primary copywriter for various marketing communication, including (but not limited to) advertising, promotions, e-newsletters, brand, web copy, and customer letters.
- Writes press releases to announce branch developments, employee announcements, product introduction and more.
- Prepares ad requests and compliance approvals for marketing communication pieces.
- Tracks KMN marketing projects from start to completion to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met.
- Assists with in-store marketing and product promotions.
- Responsible for all copy associated with internal communications for monthly marketing of bank products and services.
- Oversees proofreading for all marketing communications and social media posts.
- Monitors, responds and posts to social media as needed.
- Orders promotional items, marketing materials and supplies as needed.
- Serves as member of Pinnacle Bancorp Marketing Committee.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Knowledge of bank products, locations, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of word processing and Excel.
- Knowledge of marketing functions and social media.
- Skill in organization and attention to detail is critical.
- Excel in copywriting and proofreading.
- Excellent communication skills in order to effectively convey information to others.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines with multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or marketing preferred.
- Copywriting experience preferred.
