Kristen Austin

A Newcastle native, Kristen’s Wyoming roots, vast banking experience and passion for helping customers attain their goals makes her a natural fit to lead the Sundance Loan Production Office. She earned a BS degree in Accounting and Minor in Finance from the University of Wyoming. She joined Pinnacle Bank - Moorcroft in 2014, working in various areas of the bank, including two years as a local loan officer. Prior to being named the Branch Manager of the Sundance LPO in 2021, she spent three years reviewing and analyzing ag and commercial loans from across the state as the Assistant Vice President of Risk Management.

When Kristen isn’t busy helping customers, you’ll likely find her enjoying the many activities the area has to offer, such as hunting, horseback riding, attending concerts, as well as spending time with family and friends. Growing up on her family’s ranch outside of Newcastle, it comes as no surprise that she would marry a rancher. Channing, her husband, is an electrician and works on his family ranch in White Owl, SD, with their three dogs.
